Becki Newton

Becki was born in Guilford, Connecticut. She was 13 when she began appearing in local plays and summer Stock Theatre. While studying European History at Penn, she also spent a few semesters in Europe. Becki was immediately moved to NYC after graduation in order in order to take on Broadway. After appearing on a variety of nationally-telecast commercials, as well as guest-starring parts, such as Cold Case (2003), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), as well as American Dreams (2002), she was offered the role of Amanda in Ugly Betty (2006). The actress is married to the actor Chris Diamantopoulos, and her brother is actor Matt Newton. If I consider gorgeous women, they're not supermodels. I'm fortunate to let the professionals do it on the job and for red-carpet functions as I'm not sure I'm skilled. With regards to my style, I'm willing to experiment with the new stuff. It's a pleasure to be glamorous! It's fun to dress up! isn't about putting up with fuss; it's about taking care of myself. You can be a small amount of fussy.
